Size doesn't matter
Though it's still playing club shows, Danko Jones is going on its 12th year as a hard-working touring band

Danko Jones, the band, has been around for a while. It's celebrating its 12th year on the road, touring in support of its fifth full-length album, Never Too Loud - but, while another upstart indie band rockets to the upper echelon of Canada's music scene every day before noon, Danko Jones, for whatever reason, never really quite hit the big time in Canada in those 12 years and five records. Mike Sherby talked to Danko Jones (the man) about the elusiveness of fame, the new record and the band's place in the Canadian music scene.
