Live fast, die young
Online life-expectancy calculator will tell you exactly how many years your bacon and beer addiction is taking off your life
Anthony Augustine

Virtual Age and Life Expectancy Calculator
tinyurl.com/4oe2fl - Do you drink more than you should? Do you smoke? Do you eat rich, fatty foods? Do you spend more time channel surfing than you do outside? Do you have difficultly sleeping? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you can probably bet that you are slowly lowering your life expectancy in what John K. Samson would call a form of "soft suicide." If you are wondering if all those nights of hard partying and stress at your job are affecting your health, you may want to take a few minutes with this online test.

World's Cleanest & Dirtiest Cities
tinyurl.com/yu2tpl, tinyurl.com/2fc9xy - Despite the efforts of Take Pride Winnipeg, our city has a long way to go before it can make Forbes' list of the 25 Cleanest Cities in the World. Even though Calgary is trying to cope with runaway growth and fast-tracked development thanks to the oil boom, Cowtown managed to snag top spot on the list. Although Canada has five cities represented, locally, we are still light years behind other progressive cites. While Winnipeg in the spring may be pretty bad, nothing compares to the 25 places that made the World's Dirtiest Cities list. Considering the level of pollution and poor living conditions in cities such as Baku, Azerbaijan, Mexico City, Mexico and Port Harcourt, Nigeria, I guess we can't really complain too much about the overflowing recycling/trash bins on Corydon Avenue, the garbage blowing around back lanes and the plastic shopping bags stuck in fences.

Burma: It Can't Wait
www.burmaitcantwait.org - If you only watch mainstream news, chances are you hadn't heard much about what is happening in Burma (also known as Myanmar) until the recent disaster struck. Burma: It Can't Wait is a month-long video campaign aimed at raising awareness about the political unrest in the country and the plight of Aung San Suu Kyi. One video a day will be uploaded to the site, featuring celebrities such as Sarah Silverman, Jennifer Aniston and Will Ferrell talking about the repression happening in the country.
