UPTOWN RESUMES PUBLICATION NOV. 6
A message to our readers
JOHN KENDLE

We are happy to report that the strike which affected publication of UPTOWN ended Tuesday, Oct. 28, with the ratification of a new contract by unionized workers at Canstar Community News and the Winnipeg Free Press.
It is not possible for us to print and distribute a paper for Oct. 30, so Winnipeg's arts, entertainment and news source will be back on the streets on Nov. 6.

We apologize for any inconvenience this labour distruption may have caused UPTOWN's readers and advertisers.
