ArtsVote – Provincial Election Forum on Arts, Culture and Creativity
Election forum to be hosted this Wednesday, Sept 21
ArtVote Winnipeg will be hosting an election forum on Arts and Culture on Wednesday September 21, 2011, 12 noon to 1:30 PM at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Muriel Richardson Auditorium.
Moderated by Dave Angus (CEO of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce) and featuring participants:
Nancy Allan, NDP MLA for St. Vital
Mavis Taillieu, PC MLA for Morris
Ludolf Grolle, Liberal candidate for St. Paul's
The candidates will respond to a short list of prepared questions covering a range of issues regarding the arts and cultural sector and present their party’s position as it relates to the topic.
ArtsVote Winnipeg is a non partisan coalition of large and small arts and cultural industry organizations and individuals concerned with the ongoing health and growth of Manitoba’s cultural life.
