Winnipeg Election
winnipegelection.ca — For political junkies, the 2010 civic election has been a pretty bland race so far. Recently launched, Winnipegelection.ca is a new online resource for Winnipeggers looking to get up to speed before heading to the polls. Along with gathering election news, the site also offers information on candidates for city council, linking you to their websites, email addresses, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and, in some cases, their YouTube feeds.

"Introduced in 1998, these fat-free chips were manufactured with a fat substitute called Olestra. As it turned out, people loved the idea of fat-free chips. What they didn’t like, however, was the hour spent on the toilet after consumption."
